User role presets and permissions
This page specifies the role presets available in Storyteq CMP and the permissions granted by each role within each domain. For instructions on inviting and managing users, see Manage users.
Role presets
Each preset assigns a default role to each domain. You can adjust individual domain roles when inviting a user or editing an existing user’s roles.

| Users with the Custom preset require both the Administration > Admin role and a Portals role to manage users, groups, portals, and assets. |
| Assigning any Templates role also grants access to Adaptation Studio via the app switcher. |
Domain permissions
The following tables specify the permissions granted by each role within each domain. Roles are assigned per domain when inviting a user or editing an existing user’s roles.
