Sign in to the CMP Asset Picker

This page explains how to sign in to the CMP Asset Picker from an external integration. The Asset Picker uses the Identity Broker to authenticate you via your company’s identity provider.

Sign in from a browser-based application

To sign in to the CMP Asset Picker from a browser-based third-party application, such as Jira:

  1. Launch the CMP Asset Picker from within your application.

  2. Enter your tenant URL in the field provided and select Connect. The Identity Broker determines your identity provide and region, and opens the sign-in page in a new browser tab.

  3. Sign in using your company credentials in the new tab. Once authenticated, the browser tab closes automatically and the Asset Picker returns to a signed-in state.

If you are already signed in to your identity provider, the Asset Picker will detect this automatically and return to a signed-in state without prompting you to sign in again.

If the sign-in times out

The Asset Picker waits 5 minutes for authentication to complete. If you do not complete the sign-in process within this time, the session times out and the Asset Picker returns to its original state. Select Connect to start the sign-in process again.

If you entered the wrong tenant URL

If you have entered an incorrect tenant URL, select Cancel on the sign-in screen to return to the Asset Picker. You can then re-enter the correct tenant URL and select Connect again.

Sign in from a desktop application

To sign in to the CMP Asset Picker from a desktop application, such as Figma:

  1. Launch the CMP Asset Picker from within your application.

  2. Enter your tenant URL in the field provided and select Connect.

  3. Sign in using your company credentials in the browser window that opens.

  4. Once authenticated, close the browser window and return to your desktop application. The Asset Picker displays in a signed-in state.

If you are already signed in to your identity provider, the Asset Picker will detect this automatically, and return to a signed-in state without prompting you to sign in again.
